Premier Juniors Spring Program for U8 and U9 Players
Trying to decide if premier soccer is a good match for your young player? FC Alliance’s Premier Juniors spring program is designed for players on U8 and U9 teams last fall. Starting February 28th, and continuing for six weeks until April 15th, players learn from training with FCA’s licensed coaches and games on Sundays with other local premier clubs. Premier Juniors is a great way for parents and players can see if premier soccer is a good fit for their child, and prepare children for U10 team tryouts on May 4th and 5th. The cost is just $250. This is what DEDICATION looks like !
The BU12 White group is ONE DEDICATED TEAM! Faced with horrible driving conditions, parents and coaching staff -- Jorge Barrera, Doug Kenyon, and Steve Olsen -- banded together to carpool the players through snow, ice, and slush, to get the boys to their GRFC Tournament game. Unfortunately, once they heroically arrived at the field, the referees canceled two of their games ...
... but with parents and coaches who support the team SO WELL --
THEIR FUTURE IS SUNNY ! GO BU 12 WHITE !!!!

University of Idaho recruits Reagan Quigley
FCA Alumna Reagan Quigley accepted an offer from The University of Idaho from Coach Peter Showler. Reagan worked with many FC Alliance coaches, including Ed Lim, Jorge Barerra and Katie Hultin. Reagan’s mother, Sharon, says "Katie was not only an excellent coach but a knowledgeable and caring mentor for players interested in college soccer." In addition, many soccer coaches along the way offered extra training that was vital to Reagan’s development. Reagan’s discipline on the soccer field has also paid off academically at Woodinville High School, where she is currently the ASB Student Body President maintaining a 3.89 GPA. On her high school soccer team, Reagan earned her 3rd letter this year and served as Captain.
Alexis Thode joins Washington State University Soccer Team
Long time FC Alliance player Alexis Thode has accepted a spot on the Washington State University soccer team for Fall 2012.
Alexis wants to thank her FC Alliance coaches over the years: Jorge Barrera, Ed Lim, and Katie Hultin; and goal keeper coaches Doug Kenyon and Justin Mak. Alexis has also played at the Olympic Development Player level. Her Bothell High School coach, Shaun Warner, has been a great coach, where Alexis has served as captain for two years, earning King County 4A Honorable Mentions, 2nd team, King County 4A 1st team, in her three years at Bothell High School. Alexis’s proud parents – FC Alliance Treasurer Carsten and Joyce Thode – point out that she has been active for many years with Science Olympiad, Honor Society and Executive Council – all while maintaining a 3.856 grade point average! CONGRATULATIONS, Alexis and Family !
2011 Holiday Break Camp Group
Holiday Break Soccer Camp raises $3,500 for Scholarships
Thanks to everyone’s efforts, $3,500 was raised for the Scholarship Fund at this year's Holiday Break Camp organized by FCA coach, Hugo Alcaraz. This past year, over 50 under-served youth players received premier-level soccer training at FC Alliance through scholarships.
Coach Hugo was very grateful: "thanks to all the kids, parents, and young FC Alliance coaches, for coming out and making the camp a great success. The kids had a great time and I am looking forward to next year."
President Elect Tom Campbell added his thanks: "This spirit of giving to help other soccer players in our club stay in FCA is a tremendous example of who we are as a club. Thanks to Hugo and each of you who made this great for the kids and great for the club. Have a wonder filled holiday."

FC Alliance BU17 White Co-Captains Indy Nikel (Bothell High School) and Martin Corpus (Inglemoor High School) competed in the 2012 Washington DECA AREA III Business Conference.
