Olympic Development Players
The Olympic Development Program (ODP) is run by USYSA (United States Youth Soccer Association) and is administered by WSYSA (Washington State Youth Soccer Association). These teams are formed by tryout at the State level. The state scouts and subsequently invites players in the under-13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 year age groups.

The teams do not play in a league and it is possible to play ODP and still be on an FC Alliance  team. The ODP teams go to tryouts usually in late March to early April, and possibly a few tournaments, most notably the Nike tournament in Oregon Memorial Day Weekend.  From the tryouts in March/April, players may be selected to play at Regional Camp in July and subsequently on the Region IV team and then the National ODP team. More information is available on the WSYSA Website.
