Alex Swanson has played for FC Alliance since the U13 level. He has played on both the Gold and White teams.  Last year Alex played on the FC Alliance B90 White team.  He also played for Inglemoor high school varsity, and worked as a NYSA referee for two years.

He holds a 3.85 GPA and is in the LINK program at Inglemoor. Alex will be attending University of Washington in the fall. As a sophomore he wrote an essay for the Reflections contest on his love for soccer and won the District competition. The judges picked his essay because of his passion for the game.      

Alex is a player that you can count on. He attends 95% of the practices and all the games. He is a versatile player than can play multiple positions and play them all well. He plays on defense but he can also play in the midfield. He has played up to six different positions on the field in the same game. He is the glue that keeps our team together. He understands the game and plays under control. 

Alex is the type of player that FC Alliance can be proud of. He works hard both in training and in games. He keeps his composure on the field and can walk away from the field knowing he gave his best effort.
